These creative baby onesies were a pleasure to design and one of our favorite projects to date! Character Eight is a contract designer for Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia and these onesies were uniquely designed for their non-profit ministry, the Liberty Godparent Home. Each baby onesie is designed with simple, gender-neutral typographic treatments to appeal to all mothers of infant children.
The Liberty Godparent Home is a non-profit, residential home in Central Virginia for young ladies under the age of 21 facing many issues that accompany an unintended pregnancy. The women are cared for 24-hours a day with dedicated and trained staff members who look after and encourage each resident during this challenging time. Along with 24-hour care the Liberty Godparent Home offers counseling, medical, educational, and recreational services.
These onesies are sold locally for $18 by the residents of the Godparent Home each Thursday in the fall at the Liberty Farmer’s Market on the campus of Liberty University between 3:30pm – 6:00pm. Sizes range from newborn to 9 months. All of the monies profited from the sales will go to support the Godparent Home directly.
