Lindsay & Nathan | August 5, 2016
[5×7 satin finish invitation] [4×6 rsvp postcard]
I met Lindsay through a mutual friend and soon realized that her and her fiancé had much in common with my husband and me! Nathan is from a city near the Bay Area in California, close to where Bryan was born. Lindsay and Nathan have dated long distance for a few years, which is something both Bryan and I can sympathize with as we dated long distance all throughout my time at Liberty University. They both love Disney and more importantly, the Lord, and we wish them the best on their upcoming summer wedding.
Lindsay approached me with a design she had in mind that depicted their long distance relationship and the joining of both families for their special day. The front of the invitation elegantly tells the story of their love and their families that will come from both California and Michigan to become one on that great day in August. Her wedding will have a touch of a Disney theme so we wanted to tie that in as well through the small Mickey ears marking the states and separating text sections.
We kept it simple with a RSVP postcard that matched the invitation and will allow for a quick return for guests from near and far. Along with the traditional response of “attending” or “can’t make it”, Lindsay wanted to include a space for guests to choose a song to dance to during the reception, which is sure to make for an exciting celebration!
