Brensley is a sweet friend of Denae’s sister, Amber, and contacted Character Eight to create an invitation package for her upcoming wedding in Virginia. A beautiful, mountain scape has been on our design bucket list for quite some time, so we were thrilled to create a unique piece for Brensley and Matt!
Brensley and Matt met in 2012 on a missions trip to South Africa. The two began dating two years later in August 2014 and have been together ever since. They are both very passionate about the mission field and sharing the Gospel with people from all countries. Eventually they hope to use their education and God-given gifts to serve Christ overseas in a foreign country.
Their wedding ceremony will be outdoors in the beautiful hills of Bedford, Virginia not far from where they attended college together. The scenery is gorgeous with grassy hills everywhere and big, beautiful, blue mountains to be seen in the distance! With this in mind, we designed a one of a kind mountain scape invitation to give guests a sneak peak of the scenery they’ll take in on the big day while sticking with the green colors intended for the wedding decor. The text treatment is semi-formal with the script font making it’s appearance within the modern sans serif font of the body text. The final personal touch of this package is the monogram placed on the back of the invitations to include the couples initials and a touch of greenery used in the ceremony decor.
We are honored to have created this suite for Brensley and Matt and wish them the best as they begin their life together this summer.
